LA MIRADA---A defensive duel between the Biola women's soccer team and Sonoma State ended in a scoreless draw at Al Barbour Field.

Biola's defensive effort was led by Autum Monty in the goal and Marije Rechin who both played the full 90 against the Seawolves. Jojo Prisock was another key piece of BU's defensive line, tallying 85 minutes. 

Monty kept her team in the match, making two saves against SSU. Her first save was in the 2nd minute and her last was a crucial save in the 74th.

Biola's offense put Sonoma State's keeper to work. BU fired in seven shots, five of which were on-goal. 

The Eagles return home for their next match on Wednesday, September 18 at 4 pm against CSULA.
