LA MIRADA---Jordan Rabe just wrapped up her final season with the Biola women's basketball program and has already signed a professional contract with ASC Theresianum Mainz.
ASC Theresianum Mainz is a Pro B team in the Second Bundesliga league located in Southwest Germany.
"This opportunity means a lot to me," commented Rabe. "It's been a dream of mine to play professional basketball for a long time now, but I never really believed I could do it. I'm so excited for the opportunity to continue playing basketball at a high level and to travel while doing so."
Rabe continued, "My time at Biola has impacted me and my career in many ways. To name just a few, I have grown closer to God, developed lasting friendships, and become a better person and player. My five years at Biola were incredible and I'm so thankful for the permanent impact they have had on my life. Coach Alan took a chance on me almost six years ago now, and it has truly changed my life trajectory on and off the court."
Rabe spent five seasons at Biola and had the best season of her career during her final year. In 2023-24, Rabe was named First Team All-PacWest, CSC Academic All-District and reached her 1,000th career point.
She was a 2023-24 PacWest Conference statistical leader in rebounds (4th, 196), blocks (8th, 26), field goal percentage (7th, .410), 3pt field goals per game (15th, 39), and scoring (16th, 317). Rabe also recorded 28 steals and four double-doubles while posting impressive averages such as .312 beyond the arc, 10.9 points per game, and 6.8 rebounds per game.
Additionally, Rabe scored in double digits in 20 games.
