VISTA, Calif. --- With the final stretch of the season in sight, the Eagles began ramping up for postseason play. Veralie Naranjo stepped up for the BU squad in two games last week on the way to a WWPA Offensive Player of the Week Award, as announced on Wednesday.

For the third time this season, Naranjo grabbed a weekly honor from the conference office. She ranks second in the conference for total goals with 67 this year with one game remaining on the regular season schedule. 

Through two games last week, the junior compiled eight goals, one assist, two drawn exclusions and five steals. 

Naranjo took over in the fourth quarter against CSU Monterey Bay with three scores in a four-minute stretch to help the Eagles take the lead and seal the win. She went on to score four against Azusa Pacific on Saturday for her fourth-straight game with at least three goals.

Naranjo and the Eagles will wrap up regular season play on Friday, taking on Fresno Pacific on the road at 1:00 pm.
