LOS ANGELES --- The BU squad's final tuneup game before conference play was a bout at No. 1 UCLA (16-0). The top-ranked and undefeated Bruins came out on top over the Eagles (6-12) by a final score of 23-4.

The Saturday afternoon contest was a reunion for Biola's Head Coach Sarah Orozco and her alma mater Bruins. Following the match between BU and the Bruins, UCLA held its alumni game.

Saturday's contest quickly swayed the way of UCLA with a 9-1 first quarter. The host squad finished the half leading by 14 at 15-1.

The lone first half goal for BU came from Veralie Naranjo on a five-meter penalty shot. Christina Cervantes drew the five-meter penalty to create the opportunity for Biola.

The Biola offense found more success in the fourth quarter, starting with another five-meter. Naranjo cashed in once again, following the drawn penalty from Lizzy Birch. Maria Roldan Gonzalez grabbed two goals for herself later in the fourth, posting a pair of even strength scores.

The Eagles will be back in action at home for WWPA play against Fresno Pacific on Wednesday at 1:00 pm.
