IRVINE, Calif. --- Wyatt Duncan and the Biola baseball squad picked up a crucial 3-1 series win over Concordia this past weekend. The successful series helped Duncan to a PacWest Player of the Week award, as announced by the conference on Monday.

Duncan picked up his second PacWest weekly honor of the season with Monday's announcement.

In the series against CUI, Duncan was unstoppable at the dish with 11 hits in 18 at bats. The last three games featured three-hit efforts, including a 4-4 showing in the series finale. Through the four games, he batted .611 and boosted his season batting average to .369.

Duncan finished off the week with a six-game hitting streak and has multiple hits in five of those six games.

The big moment of the week came in game two on Saturday when the Eagles entered extra innings locked at seven against Concordia. The BU first baseman led off with a base hit, which would turn into the game-winning run.

The Eagles saw regional attention on Monday, moving into the NCBWA DII West Region Poll at No. 8.

Biola will be back in action on Tuesday, hitting the road to face CSU Dominguez Hills in a single game at 3:00 pm.
