IRVINE, Calif. --- Biola's three-game series against No. 10 CSU San Bernardino began with considerable success off the back of Bobby Brown's pitching. The junior earned a win on Friday, while picking up a PacWest weekly honor on Monday.

Brown toed the rubber to start Friday's lone game on the road and the righty did not disappoint. He worked his way through the Yotes lineup without much resistance. Brown posted seven scoreless frames on his way to a 2-0 record this season on the mound.

100 pitches was all he needed, while only allowing four hits and two walks. Brown offered five three-up, three-down frames and collected three strikeouts on the afternoon.

The Eagles will be back in action at home on Friday, facing Westmont in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 11:00 am.
