VISTA, Calif. --- The 2024 regular season is in the books for Biola but before their eyes turn to the postseason, the team pulled in the final weekly honor from the WWPA. John Grasso helped the Eagles to wins on Friday and Saturday last week, on the way to the WWPA Player of the Week honor.

Grasso did it all for BU in a pair of wins last week, totaling seven goals, three assists, four drawn exclusions, six steals and two field blocks. He ended the year on a tear, scoring multiple goals in the final five games, including 16 goals in that stretch.

The senior center defender helped edge the Sunbirds last Friday, scoring three second half goals. The late flurry from Grasso and a game-winner from Adam LaVoy pushed the Eagles past FPU in a 12-11 thriller.

The Eagles will enter the WWPA tournament on Friday, taking on No. 3 East seed McKendree in the opening round at 11:00 am in Irvine, California.
