LA MIRADA --- Biola women's water polo continued to add to their competitive success in 2023 with academic praise on Tuesday. The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches handed out All-Academic awards, naming 16 Eagles to the prestigious list, while also earning the team award.

To be eligible for consideration, an institution's head coach must be a member of the ACWPC while the student-athlete must attain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher. The list is divided into three levels based on cumulative GPA - Outstanding (4.00-3.71), Superior, (3.70-3.41) and Excellent (3.40-3.20).

The WWPA was well represented on the all-academic list with seven of the eight schools in the conference earning the ACWPC All-Academic Team Award. Biola made its way onto the list with a team GPA of 3.34. 

Six Eagles landed on the highest ranking of "outstanding", while seven earned "superior" rankings and three came in at "excellent".
