KANSAS CITY --- The Eagles reached the maximum allowed recipients of the CSC Academic All-District honors with five distinctions in 2023. The BU baseball squad flexed its strength on the field and in the classroom with strong grade-point averages across the board.

The 2022‐23 Academic All‐District Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All‐America program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Five Eagles collected the prestigious honor, ranging from the bullpen to the heart of the lineup. Taylor Justus, Jake Anderson, Sam Lisiak, Wyatt Duncan, and Tristan Cazel all earned the recognition with a minimum grade point average of 3.5, while participating in over half of the team's competitions.

The group was a part of a Biola team that went 19-27 in the regular season and finished fifth in the PacWest. The team was full of power, blasting 69 homers in 2023 to rank second in the conference and 28th in the nation.
