SURPRISE, Ariz.---The Biola men's tennis team shutout Hawai'i Hilo 4-0 at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Club which as a result allows them to advance to the PacWest Championships' fifth place match on Saturday.

The Eagles (13-7 overall) had a strong showing against the Vulcans (4-12). Biola worked ahead by winning the doubles point. Antonio Rosales Varona and Adrian Solorzano gave BU an edge by winning 6-1 on the first court and then Sebastian Herrera and Callen Hein came through with a 6-3 win to clinch the set.

Biola was also dominant in singles where they won on courts 2, 3, and 4. Solorzano recorded BU's first win on the second court where he defeated UHH's Filippo Di Perna 6-0, 6-0.

Rosales Varona finished next, winning 6-1, 6-2 over Agustin Gentile on court 4 and then Biola clinched the match on the third court when Herrera took down UHH's Zen Yoshida 6-3, 6-1. 

Biola will face MSU Denver in the PacWest Championships' fifth place match which is scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. tomorrow Saturday, Apr. 22.
