IRVINE, Calif.---The Biola men's and women's tennis teams qualified for the PacWest Conference Tennis Championships as announced today by the conference office.

The conference tournament is set for April 19-22 at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Club. Eight men's teams and 12 women's teams qualified for the championships located in Surprise, Arizona.The last rankings will be released on Monday, Apr. 17 which will be the final seedings headed into the conference championships.

In the previous round of rankings, the men were picked sixth behind No. 1 Point Loma, No. 2 Hawai'i Pacific, No. 3 Azusa Pacific, No. 4 MSU Denver and No. 5 CUI. The women were ranked eighth behind No. 1 Hawai'i Pacific, No. 2 Azusa Pacific, No. 3 Concordia, No. 4. Point Loma, No. 5 Fresno Pacific, No. 6 Academy of Art and No. 7 MSU Denver.
