Starting Strong with Spadt

Rachel Spadt led the Eagles to a 2-0 start in conference play, earning herself a WWPA Player of the Week award.

VISTA, Calif. --- For the second time in three weeks, a Biola Eagle picked up the WWPA Player of the Week honor. On Thursday, it was Rachel Spadt who nabbed the weekly recognition with an all-around performance.

Spadt combined for six goals between the two conference games last week. She helped the Eagles to a pair of WWPA wins on the road.

The redshirt junior tallied the first two goals of the game against CSU East Bay and totaled four in the first quarter and five for the whole game. She also added an assist and five steals between the two games.

Spadt and the Eagles will continue their conference slate on Tuesday at Fresno Pacific at 1:00 pm.
