GREENWOOD, Ind.---The Biola women's basketball team had three Academic All-District Team selections as announced Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators.

To be eligible student-athletes must be a starter or key reserve who played in at least 50 percent of their teams games with at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. Athletes also must have been at their institution for at least 12 months to be eligible, unless they are a graduate student. 

Aysia Johnson, Jordan Rabe and Natasa Radovic represented Biola as Academic All-District selections. Johnson has a 3.9 cumulative GPA in her Master's of Innovation & Leadership. The Fifth-Year Graduate Student averaged 23.5 minutes a game throughout her career and has been a key member of the Eagles defense who has accumulated 18 blocks and 203 steals.

Rabe is another master's student who is also pursuing her degree in innovation & leadership. Rabe has a 3.8 cumulative GPA in her master's program. Throughout her career, Rabe has averaged 20.7 minutes a game and has been a magnet off the glass who has collected 493 career rebounds with a season-high of 199 in 2021-22 which was a NCAA Division II season school record for BU.

Radovic wraps up the trio as the Eagles' last Academic All-District selection with a 3.5 GPA in public health. Throughout her career, Radovic has averaged 16.9 minutes a game and has been an efficient scorer for the Eagles. In the past two years, Radovic has averaged .400 percent in the field and .302 percent beyond-the-arc.

All-District selections will move on and be voted on for Academic All-America. The Academic All-American team will be released on Wednesday, March 15.
