The Vulcans would then go on a run that extended their lead 49-45 with a little over three minutes remaining.

Biola got back into rhythm with a three-pointer by Sydney Moran that put BU back within a point's reach, 49-48. The Eagles then benefited off of a Vulcan foul. Rabe was sent to the charity stripe for Biola and sank in two free throws which snatched the lead for Biola, 50-49.
