IRVINE, Calif. --- The WWPA champions added more individual accolades on Wednesday with the announcement of the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-American Teams. Nolan Rapp, Maxwell Osborn, and Mitchell Carpenter all earned ACWPC First Team All-American honors following their 2023 campaign.

The ACWPC added the announcement of individual awards on Friday, which were swept by the Eagles. Rapp captured the Division II ACWPC Player of the Year award to claim the top spot in the league. Rick Nordell capped off the year with a Division II ACWPC Coach of the Year award, leading the team to the incredible 2023 campaign.
All three Eagles saw action in every game of the season, as the team posted an overall record of 21-13. The team reached new heights in 2023 with a WWPA Championship, a trip to the NC National Championships and 21 wins.

Rapp, Osborn, and Carpenter added to their hardware after earning First Team All-WWPA honors back in November. Rapp and Carpenter made an impact on both sides of the pool with WWPA All-Defensive Team selections, as well.

Nolan Rapp was effective in every aspect of the game, ranking in the top three of the team in goals, assists, points, and steals. The junior paced the team in assists and steals with 62 and 47, respectively.

Maxwell Osborn boasted the team-high in goals for 2023. The senior capped off his career in La Mirada with 76 tallies and 104 points in 34 appearances. He was dominant in the middle, drawing 35 exclusions and posting a .571 shot percentage.

Mitchell Carpenter was the main man in the cage for the Eagles. The 6-6 keeper pulled in 333 saves with a save percentage of .512 a year after earning ACWPC All-American Honorable Mention status in 2022. The junior from Yucaipa, California compiled over 900 minutes in the pool and earned all 21 wins in the net.

The three ACWPC All-Americans was the best total in the team's three-year history.
