LOS ANGELES --- The next step approaches, following a WWPA Championship for the Biola men's water polo team. The Eagles wear the conference crown and are now ready to face No. 1 and top-seeded UCLA Bruins in the opening round of the National Collegiate Men's Water Polo Championships.

Biola put together its best season in its three-year history with a 18-12 regular season record in 2023. The team continued its historic success in postseason play with a three-game sweep of the WWPA Tournament, cashing in for the conference title.

The WWPA champions earned their reserved spot at the big dance for the first time in program history.

The national championships kick off on Friday, beginning with Biola's match against UCLA. The Eagles enter as the eighth-seed and will take on the top-seeded Bruins at 12:00 pm at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center in Los Angeles.

The winner between Biola and UCLA will move on to the semifinals for a Saturday matchup against the winner of Princeton and UC Irvine.

Live video and live stats will be provided for Friday's game and you can tune in here for the live video and here for the live stats.
