IRVINE, Calif.---Laila Walker represented Biola on the Preseason All-PacWest team. 

The redshirt Junior from Fontana, California was a 2022-23 Second Team All-PacWest selection who led Biola in minutes (935) and scoring (346). Walker averaged 12.4 a game and was the 10th-highest scorer in the PacWest Conference. Walker led the league with 71 three-pointers and a three-point percentage of .386. 

Additionally, Walker posted 20 or more points in five games last season and had 18 games where she scored in the double digits. 

She also contributed 89 assists which was the sixth-most in the PacWest.

Walker was also a defensive force who made 37 steals, 102 rebounds and had one block. 

Last season the Eagles finished fourth in the PacWest and were voted by the conference coaches to finish six in the recent 2023-24 poll.
