IRVINE, Calif.---Peyton Nelson and Marije Rechin represented the Biola women's soccer team on the 2023 All-PacWest teams.

Nelson led Biola as a Second Team All-PacWest selection. 

The Sophomore was Biola's leading scorer and a conference statistical leader who recorded the third-most goals (8), sixth-most shots (42), 10th-most points (16), and 10th-most shots on-goal (16) in the PacWest.

Nelson had one game-winner this season, producing the game-winning goal in BU's 1-0 win over HPU. Nelson was also awarded PacWest Player of the Week for her combined performances against HPU and Chaminade where she scored two goals in the week.

Biola's next selection was Rechin who was a Third Team All-PacWest pick. The Sophomore defender played and started in every game, accumulating the third-most minutes on her team (1,441). 

Rechin led Biola's defensive line but was also able to contribute offensively, recording three assists and 15 shots. Seven of her 15 shots were on-goal resulting in a shots on goal percentage of .467.
