Solid at Soka

Biola diving showcased its prowess on Saturday with standout performances at the Soka Invite.

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. --- The Soka Invite featured the Biola diving crew on Saturday morning. The men and women of Biola performed in the 11-dive 1M event and posted strong scores. 

Lorelai Carney claimed the crown on the women's side, collecting a score of 427.65. Carney held the school record for the 11-dive on 1M, which was set last week at Lansing Pool.

Eliana Cote followed in third, rounding out the podium. She recorded a score of 370.45, leading fourth place by over 25.

The final two competitors on the women's side for Biola were Abby DePina and Lauren Smith. The duo claimed fifth and sixth with scores of 343.20 for DePina and 277.90 for Smith.

Caleb Pook was the leader on the men's side, facing only his teammate in Sebastian Burgos. Both Eagles surpassed 350.00 in the event on Saturday. Pook took first with a score of 428.75, while Burgos came through in second at 356.65.

Biola Aquatics will return to action at the La Verne Winter Invite set for November 17-19.
