VISTA, Calif. --- The Eagles scored six wins last week and BU's goalkeeper Mitchell Carpenter played a major role for the team. The junior picked up the WWPA Defender of the Week honor following the stellar 6-0 week for the BU squad.

77 saves came at the hands of Carpenter, who locked down opposing offenses. The Yucaipa, California native tallied 23 saves in a matchup against WWPA foe, McKendree, before adding another 19 in a single game against Mount St. Mary's.

Six contests resulted in six Biola victories with the help of Carpenter's performances in goal. The perfect week moved the Eagles to 10-9 on the year with the conference slate quickly approaching. 

With 19 games played so far, Carpenter leads the conference with 184 saves and 27 steals. 

The Eagles will return to the pool on Wednesday with their conference opener against Concordia at 1:00 pm at home.
