HOLZ, Germany --- Another BU athlete has left the nest and found another organization to make an impact on. Vanessa Garcia will continue her volleyball career with the proWIN Volleys in Germany.

The BU setter graduated after an accolade-filled 2021 season. Garcia orchestrated the offense for the Biola attack on the way to a First Team All-PacWest selection. In the year, she collected over 800 assists and finished her Biola career with just over 2,500 assists.

Garcia stepped it up in her final collegiate campaign, setting career-bests in every statistical category. The senior capped off 2021 with 101 kills, 836 assists, 12 aces, 235 digs and 45 blocks.

The proWIN Volleys TV Holz team is looking forward to adding all of Garcia's 5-11 frame to their front line. The SoCal native will bring a solid presence at the net, bringing offensive and defensive prowess.

Garcia will be joining the Germany squad for the 2022-23 campaign. The new season will start on September 17 with a match between proWIN Volleys and SV Sinsheim.
