LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Of the nine Western Water Polo Association Player of the Week awards to be awarded this season Biola accounts for three of them. This week it was
Kourtney Pyle who took home the hardware for the first time.
Biola went two-for-three last week in matches against CSU Monterey Bay, Ottawa and La Verne. The Eagles' only loss was a sudden death overtime thriller against the hosting Leopards last weekend. Pyle helped lead the charge for BU with five goals total for the week She scored a hat trick in the losing effort at La Verne, doing all she could to help her Eagles in the 40-minute thriller.
Pyle is leads the team in goals for this season with 44. She's a deadly outside shooter and she's also able to cash in at the penalty spot for BU. Her 44 goals go along with seven assists and 13 steals to make her a player who can do it all for Head Coach
Sarah Orozco. She also 18 sprint wins, taking home the sprint victory more often than not when given the chance (.563).
