LA MIRADA, Calif. — Following eight seasons of stewardship over the program, Erin Brunelle will move on from her position as Head Coach of Biola Women's Soccer. Brunelle began as an assistant coach at BU in 2009 and took the helm as the team's head coach in front of the 2015 season.

She led the team to a 2017 National Christian College Athletic Association championship and compiled 78 victories over her eight seasons of leadership. She ends her tenure as the winningest head coach in program history.

Her teams qualified for the NAIA Championships in her first two years, which were Biola's final seasons in the NAIA. She began her tenure as head coach with a 47-9-7 overall record through the first three years.

"We appreciate the years of service Erin dedicated to Biola Women's Soccer and its student-athletes," said Associate Athletic Director Eddie Shepard. "We wish her all the best as she makes this transition."

Brunelle was the sixth head coach in Biola Women's Soccer's relatively short history (established 1992). The search for the seventh head coach will begin immediately. The job application will be available on the Biola HR Employment Website within the next week.
