November 09, 2022

IRVINE, Calif.--- Frances Andrade represented Biola in the PacWest's postseason awards where she was named a Second Team All-PacWest selection.

"I'm honored to be named to the all-conference team," exclaimed Andrade. "There are a lot of talented players in the PacWest and I am very thankful for the recognition! All glory to God."

Andrade, a redshirt senior, was the backbone of the Eagles midfield who started in all 17 of Biola's matches. Andrade played 90 minutes in eight matches and ended the season with a team-high of 1,409 minutes.

Andrade also achieved a career milestone when she scored her first goal against Concordia.

"We are so excited for Frances to receive this honor and recognition," stated head coach Erin Brunelle. "She has been one of our fiercest competitors who set high standards for herself and this program. Her leadership on and off the field this season truly helped us stay competitive every time we stepped on the pitch. Her insatiable hunger to learn and desire to ensure that a quality product was seen on the field made coaching her an honor and privilege. We are truly thankful for God sending her our way and for blessing her with this award. Congrats Frances!"

This was Andrade's second time being named all-conference. In 2021, Andrade was featured as a Third Team All-Conference selection.
