Kristian All-American

All-American Status

Kristian Colaci has officially been named an All-American by the D2CCA.

November 30, 2022

POMONA, Calif.---Kristian Colaci received All-American recognition by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).

"In a team full of dedicated and talented student athletes, Kris quickly rose to the top during his short time here at Biola," reflected head coach Joey O'Keefe. "Kris brought a focus and sharpness to his craft every single day. He is one of the most passionate and fierce competitors that I have had the privilege to coach. Kris has set the bar that all our future strikers will strive to achieve. The only thing I would change about Kris is that I wish I had the chance to coach him for more than one season."

Colaci, a graduate transfer, made an immediate impact on the Biola Men's Soccer program where he led his squad, the PacWest Conference, and the nation in scoring. Colaci helped lead his team to their first-ever NCAA Division II conference title, scoring 15 goals for the Eagles. The Italy native was a huge offense threat, scoring at least one goal in 12 games and two goals in three. He also had four game-winners in the 2022 season.

The D2CCA selected Colaci as a Third Team All-American, which Colaci will proudly add to his growing list of accomplishments for the 2022 season. Colaci has also received D2CCA First Team All-West Region, PacWest Player of the Year, First Team All-PacWest, and CSC All-District honors.

"Every personal award is because of teamwork," stated Colaci. "All of the personal accomplishments that we receive are all thanks to our team, the coaches, and the trainers that are working everyday together in order to give us the opportunity to perform at the best level possible. I would like to thank all of my teammates that gave everything for the team and made this season a success for the program and the university."
