The men’s soccer team played calm, cool, and collected in their 2-0 win at Al Barbour Field.

LA MIRADA--- The Biola University Men's Soccer team held their composure with a controlled presence against Hawai'i Hilo, picking up a 2-0 victory at Al Barbour Field.

The Eagles scored their first goal in the 30th minute. Kristian Colaci blasted in Biola's first goal that was assisted by Onesimus Bonat and Dylan Memory. Colaci collected his 12th goal of the season which ranks him at No. 11 in the Division II.

JD Gunn recorded his fourth shutout of the season and had three saves in the Eagles' solid conference win.

"Tonight we looked like a team hungry for a victory with a priority to defend and keep another clean sheet at home," reflected head coach Joey O'Keefe. "We have been putting a big emphasis in training on sharing the load as a team and everyone's doing their part so that we can be successful. I'm proud of the team for doing the hard work day in and day out on the training field and that was evident in their performance tonight. We had contributions from so many players and I look forward to seeing another strong performance from our boys on Monday against a quality opponent."

Biola improved 5-3-6 overall and 4-0-3 in the PacWest Conference, while UH Hilo fell 4-5-4 and 3-2-2 in the PacWest. BU currently sits in second place below Dominican (5-1 PacWest) in the conference standings.
