LA MIRADA, Calif. --- If you thought
RobertAnthony Cruz and
Larson Kindreich were done adding postseason accolades, think again.The Biola Baseball standouts were named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings NCAA Division II All-Region Teams as announced Wednesday.
All-Region teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Division II All-American Committee.
Both Cruz and Kindreich were named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II West All-Region First Team. Cruz was selected as a utility infielder while Kindreich was selected as one of four starting pitchers to the West All-Region First Team.
The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II West All-Region First Team selection now gives Cruz four postseason honors as the senior was named to the All-PacWest First Team, NCBWA First Team and D2CCA All-Region First Team
Kindreich also added multiple postseason accolades to his list of accomplishments in the 2021 season. In addition to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II West All-Region First Team selection, Kindreich was selected to the All-PacWest First Team, NCBWA All-Region Second Team and D2CCA All-West Region First Team.
