GILBERT, Ariz. --- A 5-9 guard from Eastern New Mexico University, Taylor Hall, will bring a lively, team-first attitude to the Biola unit next season.

The standout offers a resume of athletic and academic excellence, as she joins the Eagles. "Taylor Hall is a wonderful signing for us!" said head coach Alan Nakamura. "She will enhance the wonderful team-chemistry we have, and I believe her best basketball is ahead of her."

Hall began her collegiate career at Eastern New Mexico in the fall of 2019. As a freshman, Hall saw action in 16 contests, logging 109 minutes played.

In her 2019-2020 season with the Greyhounds, Hall collected a pair of double-digit scoring outings. The guard notched a season-high of 16 points in a road win, shooting six-for-11 with four three-pointers.

"She is a nice, active athlete who loves the game, knows the game, and will bring a teachable, team-first spirit to our team, a love for the game, and an excellent skill set to our program," added Nakamura.

In the classroom, the Gilbert, Arizona native found success with three appearances on the Dean's List through four semesters with a plus-3.50 grade-point average.

Academic excellence in college reflected Hall's dedication in high school, as she compiled academic achievement and first-team all-academic awards.

At Casteel High, Hall helped the team reach its first Arizona Final Four appearance. Individually, Hall nabbed multiple all-conference and all-district honors for her performance on the court.

The new Eagle is excited for the new challenge upcoming for her in La Mirada, "I cannot wait to be a part of the women's basketball program at Biola!" commented Hall. "The culture, style of play, and community that has been established within the team is something that I instantly gravitated to!"

Hall plans to major in business administration when she arrives on campus in the fall. Beyond college, Taylor aspires to to own a business in the health and fitness industry that helps others live a happy and healthy lifestyle.
