IRVINE, Calif. --- For the second time this season, Biola Baseball left-hander Larson Kindreich was named PacWest Pitcher of the Week as announced on Monday. 

"Larson continues to demonstrate why he is a high quality arm not only in our conference but across the country," said Head Coach Jeff Calhoon. "We are all excited to see what the future holds for Larson."

Kindreich continues to elevate his MLB Draft stock as the junior pitched seven shutout innings while notching 11 strikeouts against the top ranked GNAC team last week. The lefty surrendered only six hits and one walk to Northwest Nazarene in game one of the series. 

The 11 strikeouts rank second to Kindreich's season-high of 15 strikeouts against Concordia which also earned him PacWest pitcher of the week honors. 

Kindreich's final start of the season improved him to a 3.83 ERA and a conference-best 68 strikeouts in 47 innings pitched. In three seasons, Kindreich struckout 199 batters in 136.2 innings pitched with a 4.02 career ERA.
