Three Eagles Podium

Chase Williams, Mackenna Mason and Anna Maumalanga earned second and third place finishes at the PacWest Track & Field Championships.

FRESNO, Calif. --- Multiple athlete's podium at day two of the PacWest Track & Field Championships. Both the men's and women's teams finished in fifth place at the PacWest Conference Championship meet. 

Chase Williams took second place in the 100 with a new personal best of 10.64. Mackenna Mason finished third in the 5000 with a time of 18:52.26. Anna Maumalanga rounded out BU's podium finished with a third place finish in the discus with a mark of 45.52m.

Williams added a fourth place finish to his day in the 200 with a time of 21.87 for a personal best. Surpassing the mark of 22.02 that Williams set at the Bryan Clay invite earlier this season. 

Jayme Budwig came in fourth place in the discus with a mark of 43.55m while Mathias Davis also notched a fourth place finish in the 400 with a mark of 49.43.

Kristin Belle finished in second in the heptathlon scoring 4,030 points, as APU's Alysa Henry took first with 4,902 points. 

The men's 1600 relay team produced solid results on day two as they finished third with a time of 3:20.10.

Biola returns to action on May 8 as the Eagles head to the Concordia Irvine Meet followed by the APU Twilight Meet on May 14 & 15.
