LA MIRADA, Calif. --- The PacWest conference offices announced the All-PacWest selections for men's tennis on Wednesday. Alexei Prokopchuk and Antonio Rosales Varona were featured amongst the top athletes in the conference in 2021.

As a duo, Prokopchuk and Rosales Varona combined to make the All-PacWest Second-Team for doubles play. The duo was electric on the court, posting five wins from the No. 1 spot. 

The doubles team hit its stride in the middle of the season, winning four-of-five matches from March 6 through March 25.

Prokopchuk earned his first two career All-PacWest recognitions, as he was placed on the All-PacWest First-Team for singles play. The righty led the Eagles from the No. 1 spot in 2021, boasting a 9-5 overall record.

The Ukraine native compiled eight straight-sets victories, pulling out his first three-set win against No. 10 Hawaii Pacific. Prokopchuk put together a great month of March, winning five-consecutive matches in straight-sets.

Biola opens its PacWest tournament against Hawaii Hilo on Thursday, beginning at 1:00 pm in Surprise, Arizona.
