IRVINE, Calif. --- Three days following the conclusion of the season for the Biola women's soccer program, the team picked up four All-PacWest postseason honors. Katelyn Penner, Jazmin Montalvo, Halie Jamir and Frances Andrade were each featured on an All-PacWest team, as announced on Tuesday.

Biola capped off its 2021 campaign with a 3-3 draw against APU on Saturday, finishing off the season with a record of 7-8-2. The group also posted a winning mark in PacWest play, while dominating at home with a 5-2-2 record at Al Barbour Field.

Playing a major role in the midfield, Katelyn Penner earned a Second Team All-PacWest recognition on Tuesday. The honor was the fourth-straight All-PacWest nod Penner has received, since joining Biola in 2018.

The senior midfielder started in all 17 matches and was on the pitch for all but seven minutes throughout the season. Penner impacted the scoreboard with two goals and two assists for six points in 2021. Her first tally of the season was the game-winner in a 1-0 nail-biter against Cal State LA on September 14.

Jazmin Montalvo was also a Second Team All-PacWest award-winner on Tuesday. The freshman forward made the cut in her first collegiate season on the pitch.

The BU offense revolved around Montalvo, who posted a team-high six goals and two game-winners this season. The Buena Park, California native collected 1,179 minutes of action, while using her speed to get by defenses for 11 shots on-goal and one assist.

The All-PacWest Third Team featured Halie Jamir, who notched her second postseason conference honor. Jamir was a premier facilitator for Biola, dishing out a PacWest-best seven assists in 2021. The midfielder recorded multiple assists in three contests, while also adding a game-winning goal in a match against Fresno Pacific on October 9.

Frances Andrade was selected to the All-PacWest Third Team, as well. The senior was excellent in her first full season as an Eagle. Andrade drew the start in all 17 contests and compiled 1,406 minutes on the pitch. The midfielder contributed offensively with a pair of assists and also helped the defense collect five clean sheets.

The PacWest men's soccer postseason awards are set to be announced on Wednesday at 1:00 pm.
