LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- On the final day of the Gary Troyer Tournament, Biola (1-12, 0-4)  fell to Condordia (4-8, 0-1) with a final score of 11-7. The Eagles finished the weekend 0-4 but learned some valuable lessons and made tremendous progress in the four-game tournament.

Biola made strides from its first three games in the tournament, as the Eagles were only out scored in two frames and scored one more goal than Concordia in the final quarter. 

Maxwell Osborn converted on a penalty shot to put Biola out in front early but 12 seconds later Concordia evened the score and would go on to score four in the first. 

Biola's defense got in its groove in the second, limiting Concordia to only one goal and out-scoring its opponent in the fourth quarter. John Grasso and Maxwell Osborn had multi-goal games with two each. 

Mitchell Carpenter logged nine saves in the match against Western Water Polo Association foe, Concordia.

With the Gary Troyer Tournament in the books, Biola has the next week to prepare as the Eagles host No. 20 Air Force  on October 9, at the Splash Aquatic Center in La Mirada, California.
