Signing Announcement for Brezlyn Langer

Embracing The Family Feeling

Brezlyn Langer follows her brother to Biola and is excited for what’s in store with Biola Volleyball.

November 18, 2020

BEAVERTON, Ore.
--- Biola Volleyball will add a front row player from Oregon for the second-straight recruiting cycle with the addition of Brezlyn Langer.

A middle blocker at Sunset High School, Langer will enroll at Biola an academic year after her brother Harrison graduated from the institution this past May. She plans to major in business or psychology when she gets to college and is very optimistic she will have a meaningful experience with the Eagles.

"I chose Biola because of my experience visiting my brother over the last four years, I've felt very comfortable and really enjoyed the overall feel of the campus," said Langer. "I'm also excited to play collegiate volleyball for Biola because I love the coaches and I can't wait for the college athlete experience!"

Langer had a very strong year of volleyball in 2019, finding success with the Sunset Apollos and her Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy club team. With Langer on the roster, the OJVA 16-1 Gold team won a CEVA Regional Championship along with two other tournaments and earned a CEVA National GJNC bid last calendar year. And during the fall, Langer played right side for a Sunset High team that went 9-3 in Metro League play and qualified for OSAA 6A playoffs.

Langer was also part of an Apollos varsity squad that advanced to the playoffs and won over 20 matches during her sophomore year in 2018. That experience, combined with her play as a middle blocker for OJVA, resulted in Langer being the first player mentioned in prepdig.com's coverage of the top middle hitters in the Portland Metro area.

Outside of volleyball, Langer played lacrosse for seven years, enjoys photography and has a strong connection to her local Young Life ministry. More information on the rest of the student-athletes that will join her at Biola in 2021-22 can be found on the Committed Athletes page.
