LA MIRADA, Calif. --- The PacWest Conference Office released its Tennis Preseason Polls on Wednesday afternoon, projecting the Biola men's team to finish seventh and women's tennis to finish 10th of 14 teams.
Both poll positions would qualifies Head Coach David Goodman's teams for the PacWest Championships for the second-straight year. The women's tennis team qualified for the first time in 2019 after defeating Dominican and Hawaii Hilo at the Biola Tennis Center. Biola Men's Tennis defeated Holy Names 4-0 in Surprise, Arizona during the Championship to finish in seventh place last year and also gave the No.6-ranked Point Loma a run for their money in San Diego during the regular season.

Hawaii Pacific won the preseason poll with 198 points and is ranked No. 8 nationally to start the year. Azusa Pacific (No. 14) and Academy of Art (No. 19) are also ranked by the ITA and finished two and three in the women's poll.
Azusa Pacific and Hawaii Pacific also went one-two in the men's poll, as the No. 7 Cougars edged out the No. 9 Sharks for the top spot. Hawaii Hilo is the third PacWest team in the top-10 of the ITA Preseason Poll and is ranked third in the conference projection
