RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- Post player Jaden Randall has been more like a pillar for the La Sierra girls' basketball team over the three seasons with the amount of production she has brought to both sides of the floor. 

Randall will join Head Coach Alan Nakamura's roster for the 2019-20 season after averaging a double-double each of the past three seasons in the River Valley League. She was an all-league first team-er multiple times and appeared on the The Press Enterprise's All-Area Second Team after posting 13 double-doubles in just 18 games. 

Maxpreps.com credits Randall with 43 double-doubles in 65 games over the past three years and she picked up one more in the Desert Valley All-Star Game in late March with 14 points and 13 boards. The Riverside, California-native blocked four shots in the All-Star Game as well and made a regular impact on the defensive end of the floor with two blocks and eight defensive rebounds a contest over her high school career.

She also played volleyball for the Eagles and earned team and league MVP honors as a senior.

"We are excited to add Jaden to our Biola Basketball family! With her height, length, athleticism, teachable, team-first spirit, Jaden has the potential to be a presence every time she steps on the floor," said Coach Nakamura. "Biola University is a wonderful fit for her, and I think she will flourish here as a person, student, and athlete!"

Randall will join an Eagles team that adds three other forwards/post players for the upcoming season in Madison Chang, Jordan Rabe and Jana Thomas-Reid. She intends to major in psychology and hopes to eventually earn a law degree.

Randall is also optimistic about how enrolling at Biola will help her maximize her personal development on and off the court:

"I chose Biola University because I feel Biola will offer me athletic, educational, and spiritual clarity through the next four years of my life,," said Randall. "My relationship with God will grow and i will continue to develop my athletic skills."

Randall will join her new teammates at the end of August and will begin preparing for Biola's first season of NCAA postseason eligibility shortly thereafter. More information about other incoming student-athletes can be found on the Committed Athletes page.
