LA MIRADA, Calif. --- The Eagles have a lot of competition ahead of them this week with three match dates for both teams and a total of seven opponents. The weather looks promising for Biola to get all of those matches in.
BIOLA at HOLY NAMES: Monday March 4 at 12 p.m. & 2:30 p.m. \\ Oakland, Calif. \\ MEYER TENNIS CENTER
Both Biola teams went 0-1 against the Hawks last year with 6-3 losses. The Holy Names men are 1-6 to start the year while the women are 3-1.
BIOLA at SONOMA STATE: Tuesday March 5 at 12 p.m. & 2:30 p.m. \\ Rohnert Park, Calif. \\ SSU TENNIS COURTS
Biola Men's Tennis finally gets to play the Seawolves after their match in La Mirada was cancelled due to rain. Sonoma State's men's team in 5-1 now after winning five-straight matches while the women are 1-2. Sonoma State women's tennis has already had to cancel seven matches this year and will be playing the Eagles for the first time after they have to call off last year's meeting.

Willamette: The Bearcats are a NCAA Division III program based in Salem, Oregon that comes to California to play the Eagles and Cal Lutheran. This will be Willamette's first roadtrip outside of its home state this season and will be their fifth opportunity to get its first win of the year after starting 0-4. But the Bearcats have played well in the 2019 calendar year, with two exhibition wins before they lost 9-0 to Lewis & Clark on Sunday Feb. 24.
St. Katherine: The Firebirds are a first-year program that are off to an 0-4 start after playing some on the premier tennis teams in Southern California at the NAIA and NCAA Division II. St. Katherine will bring five players to the Biola Tennis Center, meaning that the Eagles will have a point in hand when singles starts.

WTEN: The Firebirds women's team are also 0-4 but won't concede any default points to Biola since they have the minimum six players on the roster for their dual match. Saint Katherine has been shutout in three matches this season.
