LA MIRADA, Calif. --- A sudden thunderstorm that passed over Biola's campus on Thursday afternoon brought heavy rain and caused the postponement of the men's tennis match between Biola and Sonoma State. After a brief rain delay, the match was called due to sustained rain and unsuitable court conditions.

The teams began their doubles matches and played for about 30 minutes before play was called. No points were recorded before the match was suspended and the contest will simply be cancelled because the teams are scheduled to meet in a few weeks.

Biola travels to Rohnert Park, California to face the Seawolves on March 5 and will play its next match on February 23 when the Eagles host Whittier College.
