LA MIRADA, Calif. --- On Monday the PacWest Conference office announced Sabrina Winslow as the PacWest Player of the Week for the final week of the 2019 regular season.

The Eagles' senior outside hitter averaged 4.5 kills-per-set with 45 total kills as Biola handed losses to Point Loma, Dominican and Notre Dame de Namur all inside Chase Gymnasium. Those 45 kills got Winslow to a grand total of 1,000 kills for her four-year collegiate careeer (one year at Fresno State, three at Biola).

Winslow's biggest effort of the week was an 18-kill performance to lift Biola to its win over Point Loma. It was an "upset" win over the Sea Lions who were third in the conference at the time. Biola swept the season series against PLNU, thanks in large part to Winslow's effort this past week. 

The senior hit over .300 in all three matches to raise her season hitting percentage up to .185, a career-best. That percentage, coupled with nearly 300 kills, nearly 150 digs and a career-high in blocks has Winslow working her way into All-PacWest consideration.

The three wins helped Biola finish its season with a victory for the third-consecutive year as it went 17-13 overall and 14-8 in PacWest Conference play. That was good for sixth in the PacWest this season, which will help Biola's chances in the PacWest Commissioner's Cup race.
