LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola's student-athletes did it again! While putting forth some fantastic performances on the field, court, course and track the Eagles saw 26 spring student-athletes earn scholar-athlete honors this year.

The 26Â student-athletes were honored with GSAC Scholar-Athlete honors and also Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition from the Eagles' national affiliation.

Head Coach
Sean Henning's track & field team once again stood out among the rest with 11 of the honors coming from the track team. The student-athlete accomplished this feat while also putting out tremendous athletic effort, with the women's team finishing second in the conference this season.

The second-most scholar-athletes came from Biola Baseball. Head Coach
Jay Sullenger's squad had six different men named to the list of honorees. It was also an incredible season for that team, as they earned a national ranking and came up just one game short of the program's first conference title since 2005.

Both tennis teams combined for five honors in their first season under Head Coach
David Goodman. Both also made it to the GSAC Tournament. Also, two student-athletes from Head Coach
Jane Carr's women's golf team and two for Head Coach
Lorie Coleman's softball team made the grade.

Biola had by far the most scholar-athlete honors from any one school in the Golden State Athletic Conference.

In order to earn scholar-athlete honors from the GSAC and NAIA student-athletes much be at least a junior and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
