Box Score PHOENIX, Ariz. --- After a long, restless bus ride to Arizona, the No. 3 Eagles marched into Fultz Memorial Gymnasium and handled business against Arizona Christian. The Eagles dominated every facet of the match in a 3-0 (25-9, 25-17, 25-15) win over the Firestorm, it was their eighth shutout win in 11 conference competitions this year.

As usual all of the Eagles hitters were on point, hitting for a team average of 36.4 percent. Great hitting was keyed by great setting, coming from
Gracee Gallarda, who picked up 37 assists in the 57-minute match.

"The girls were really focused tonight, they really were," said Head Coach
Aaron Seltzer. "They played really sharp and took care of business in a really good way."

Chelsee Arnitz and
Joclyn Kirton did the most damage on the attack for the Eagles tonight, each picking up 11 kills and hitting for a way above average of higher than 60 percent. They took a combined 33 attack attempts without committing a single error and their 22 combined kills is one less that ACU's team total of 23.

Biola also did well defensively, holding ACU to single-digit kill totals in two of the three sets, and forcing 19 total errors while picking up a remarkable 47 digs.
Crissy Cunningham and
Emily Weingartner were sprawled all over the court this evening, each tacking on 10 digs to tie with Kailaa Heaney of ACU for the most in the match.

The dominating win continues the Eagles' dominating season as they push to 20-2 (10-1 GSAC) and remain just one spot behind No. 2 Concordia for first place in the GSAC.
