The Eagles pick up their third-straight win and improve to 8-2 on the season while handing the Bobcats just their second loss of the season as they fall to 9-2.

After clinging to a 25-24 halftime lead, Biola came out much stronger in the second half, shooting 50% from the field, hitting 6-of-10 from three-point range and committing just four turnovers.

The Eagles got off to a quick start in the contest, jumping out to a 7-0 lead and leading 9-4 after a bucket by Drews just under five minutes into the game. But the Bobcats answered with an 11-0 run over the next three minutes to go up six and stretch the lead to seven on a three-pointer by Emily Walker at the 7:25 mark.

Biola responded with a 10-2 run capped by an Elias three-pointer which gave the Eagles a one-point advantage with two minutes to play before the half. The teams would exchange buckets and Biola held a slight 25-24 edge at the break.

In the second half, Ozarks opened with a three-pointer by Maranda Vaught to take back the lead, though it would prove to be the final lead of the game for the visitors. Reece hit a running layup two minutes later to tie the game and capped a quick 6-0 run with a jumper two minutes after that.

However, the Eagles could still not pull away and led by just one at 44-43 with 6:20 to play. But a three-pointer by Elias followed by some impressive defense, another three-pointer by Drews and a bucket by Adams put Biola back up by seven nearing the five minute mark. The Eagles clamped down on defense and hit free throws as needed down the stretch to seal the victory.

Morgan Smith led all scorers for Ozarks with 21 points while Maranda vaught added 10 in the losing effort.
