LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Junior outside hitters Meghan Warkentin and Jessica Buffum were named to the 2007 All-GSAC team and Biola Head Coach Aaron Seltzer was named GSAC Coach of the Year as announced by the conference office on Monday.

It was the second straight year Warkentin earned the honor. She is currently third in the GSAC in kills with 413 (4.05/game) and also has 189 digs and 42 blocks. In the Eagles' upset win over No. 1 Fresno Pacific on Oct. 31, she became just the ninth player in school history to reach the 1,000 kill plateau, doing it in just two seasons.

Buffum has made an immediate impact for the Eagles, recording 317 kills on the season (2.99/game) and adding 276 digs and 55 blocks after transfering from Georgetown University this summer. 

Coach Seltzer guided the Eagles to a 27-6 regular-season record–their best since the 2003 season. In six seasons at Biola, Seltzer has guided the Eagles to a 144-57 overall record, winning at least 19 matches each season.
