LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Sophomores Abbie Wright and Katie Stevens have been named the GSAC Setter and Libero of the Week, respectively for the week of Oct. 23-29 the conference office announced on Monday.

Wright registered 121 assists (8.1 a/g), 39 digs (2.6 d/g), five aces, and two blocks (1 solo) as No. 4-ranked Biola won all five of its matches last week without losing a game. In Biola's only conference match-up against Hope International, she had 28 assists, 10 digs and two aces. In the four-match tournament hosted by Madonna MI, Wright had 93 assists (7.8 a/g), 29 digs (2.4 d/g) and three aces.

Stevens also had a strong week, averaging 6.04 digs per contest and making just one receiving error. Against Hope International, Stevens had a season-high 28 digs (9.3 d/g) in the three-game sweep. She tallied 63 digs in four matches at the tournament hosted by Madonna MI. 

Biola returns to the court on Tuesday (Oct. 30), traveling to Irvine to face No. 3 Concordia University in a GSAC contest.
