Zachary Thomas joined the Biola baseball staff in the fall of 2025 as the Lead Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.
Thomas came to Biola after serving as the Director of Baseball Operations at Utah Tech University from 2023-2025. During his time with the Trailblazers, he was part of the program’s first appearance in the WAC Tournament since transitioning to Division I in 2021.
Thomas attended Utah Tech University from 2019-2023, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance. While at Utah Tech, he helped the program reach the WAC Tournament for the first time in school history since joining Division I competition.
Originally from Lakewood, California, Thomas enjoys helping athletes grow both on and off the field. His favorite Bible verse is Mark 10:44-45.
When asked why he chose Biola, Thomas stated, “To grow professionally and spiritually.”
