Nathan Cook has been on staff at Biola since 2006, when he began as an assistant swim & dive coach for Eddie Shepard. He transitioned to a new role overseeing the operations of the campus fitness center and weight room in 2014. After that, Cook continued to add new administrative responsibilities until he assumed the role of Administrator for Facilities and Events.
Cook continues to supervise operations of the fitness center and weight room. In addition, he oversees first aid/CPR/AED trainings on campus, laundry services, trains lifeguards, serves as the department liasion with facilities management and is the primary administrator at home events.
He attended Biola and was a member of the swim & dive team in the mid-2000s. He swam sprint freestyle and qualified for the NAIA national championship meet each year he competed. Cook graduated in 2007 with a degree in international business and has continued his work at Biola ever since.
He's originally from McMinnville, Oregon and now resides in La Mirada, California. Cook enjoys traveling, soccer, music and eating desserts, especially chocolate chip cookies.
