• Prepped four varsity seasons at Whittier Christian HS in Whittier, Calif., graduating in 2014
• Also played soccer for the Heralds
• Had a personal-best of 29'11" in the shot put
• Set a personal-best of 97'2" in the discus

• Born March 16, 1996 to Peter and Tami Burns
• Has three older siblings (David, Jenny and Jonny)
• Majoring in communication sciences and disorders, with plans to become a speech pathologist
• Two of her siblings (Jenny and Jonny) attended Biola
• She enjoys baking and line dancing
• Favorite Bible Verse: Romans 3:21-26
• Why I Chose Biola: “For the ability to study the Bible and speech pathology."
