• Swam primarily freestyle for the Eagles
• Competed in the 100-freestyle, 200-freestyle, 500-freestyle abd the 800-free relay at the PCSC Championships
• Swam her season-best in the 200-free with a 1:54.18 at the PCSC meet placing 10th in the final.
• Also, swam her personal best in the 100-freestyle placing 11th in the final at the PCSC meet (:52.91)
2017-18

Complete Times
• Swam all strokes, but primarily freestyle for the Eagles
• Competed in the 200-freestyle, 500-freestyle and 200-breaststroke at the PCSC Championships
• Smashed her season-best in the 500-free with a 5:05.50 at the PCSC meet. This also set a new school record
• Had only swam the 200-breaststroke one other time in the season, set season-best (2:23.74) at PCSC meet
• Also set season-best in the 200-freestyle (1:53.48)
• She was a part of setting four school relay records at the PCSC Championships (all but the 200-free relay)
2016-17
•
Complete Times
• Qualified for NAIA National Championship meet in the 200-free, 500-free and 100-breaststroke
• Also competed in the freestyle relays at nationals
• Made finals and finished eighth in the 100-breaststroke (1:07.46). Set a season-best in the prelims of that event (1:07.21)
• Made finals and finished 11th in the 500-free (5:11.73). Her season-best in the 500 came earlier in the year at the Collegiate Winter Invite (5:11.17)
• Also made the finals in the 200-freestyle, finishing 12th with a 1:56.60
• Earned NAIA All-American honors as part of the 400-freestyle, 800-freestyle relay, 200-medley relay and 200-freestyle relay
HIGH SCHOOL
• Swam club 13 years for Swim Team of Placentia in Placentia, Calif.
• Attended the Junior Olympics in every year
• Won OCSC numerous times
• Won best teammate award twice and most outstanding swimmer in her age group eight years in a row
PERSONAL
• Born July 23, 1998 to John and Lisa Silzel
• Has three siblings (Jacob, Faith and Grace)
• She enjoys horseback riding, scuba diving, reading and learning Russian and French
• Majoring in biochemistry with hopes of working in forensic science
