Monica Martin joined the Biola Women's Golf staff in the summer of 2016 when she came on as an assistant under Head Coach Jane Carr.
Martin is a graduate of Long Beach State where she played golf for the 49ers. She earmed her bachelor's degree in communication studies and was a three-time All-Big West Conference selection. She earned those all-conference honors thanks to three runner-up finishes at the Big West Conference Championship.
Following her 2012 graduation from CSULB Martin spent four years on the professional golf circuit before coming onto the Biola staff. She has experience on the Symetra Tour, Cactus Tour and at various Canadian Women's Golf events.
Martin will combine a wealth of on-course knowledge with a solid academic focus as she leads the Eagles into a new era of women's golf. She has a history of academic success with Principal's Honor Roll honors in high school, President's Honor Roll honors in college and multiple LBSU Scholar-Athlete honors.
She joined the Biola staff "to be able to coach and mentor young ladies in the game of golf in a faith filled environment."
Martin resides in Yorba Linda, California. Outside of coaching and golfing she enjoys wakeboarding, snowboarding, hiking and playing the piano.
