Jason Johnson joined the Biola track & field program as an assistant coach in Spring 2018.
Johnson is the president of a material management company and brings a USA Track & Field Level I certification in sprints and jumps to Biola. He graduated with a B.S. in Behavioral Sciences from Cal Poly Pomona, where he was a three-time CCAA conference champion and three-time NCAA qualifier. Johnson also coached at Citrus College in 2008 and Pasadena Polytechnic High School from 2005 to 2007.Â
 Citrus College won two conference championships and set three new school records while Johnson coached there while Pasadena Poly won six conference championship and set four new records.Â
Johnson resides in La Mirada, Calif. with his wife, Brittany, and their three children, Ty, Tristin and Tatum. He enjoys coaching youth basketballl in his spare time and chose to coach at Biola "to be a part of the Christian community of coaches and student-athletes who strive for excellence in all they do, on and off the track."
